Overview

The Doctor of Business Administration program (DBA) is tailored to meet the needs of high-end business professionals who wish to upgrade their business education through research and focuses on equipping graduates with the skills and know-how needed to solve business problems, regardless of the context. Those who undertake this program has been designed to enable and increase their professional capabilities, make a positive contribution to their organisations and produce publishable level research. If you are planning to advance your career in business, then you should certainly consider enrolling in the DBA program. The program provides all the academic variables of a traditional PhD which is designed mainly to an executive crowd and researchers who want a qualification that is practical and relevant to their organisations.

The DBA at Anglia Ruskin University is a two-stage model. This incorporates a taught element in Stage 1 and is research based in Stage 2. The taught modules provide systematic continuous support in relation to the candidate’s skills and knowledge development throughout their study. It allows candidates to reach a level playing field in terms of providing the foundation for doctoral level research.

The programme is supported by two one-week workshops at Anglia Ruskin University of Chelmsford during years 1 and 2, followed by the appointment of the supervisory panel from years 3 onwards.
