Our world is diverse and complex. It’s rich and it’s poor. It’s powerful and it’s weak. Every corner is fascinating. Every inch is unique.

The multidisciplinary International Studies program at UNB’s Saint John campus is about exploring the diversity, complexity, and interdependence that make up our modern world. It’s about placing our society, politics, history, culture, and economics under a microscope in an attempt to understand contemporary global issues, such as food distribution, gender roles, and disease control.

The International Studies program is multidisciplinary, which means you’ll explore complex global issues from multiple fields of study and perspectives.

You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in field training in Mexico.

Hands-on learning

The opportunity to attend the Go-Mexico Field School, a 16-day excursion that includes 10 days of instruction in Mexico, followed by a week of immersion into Mexican culture

High school students applying to undergraduate programs at the University of New Brunswick. China: Senior Middle Two and Three results as well as a graduation certificate. Students may also be asked to report scores from the National College Entrance Examination grades of 70% or above. International students require the following English language proficiency minimum scores for direct entry into most academic programs: IELTS 6.5, TOEFL iBT 85, CAEL 60, or Pearson Vue Test 59.
