This combined bachelor’s/master’s degree program is designed to provide qualified students the opportunity to complete both degree programs in under 5 years. A student will earn a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Economics and an M.S. in Finance & Investment Management.

B.S.B.A. Economics students must apply for admission to the 4+1 B.S. Economics/M.S. Finance program. Six hours of courses taken at the 500-level will be dual counted towards both degrees. Upon completion of the B.S. degree, students have the option to apply to the graduate school and continue progress towards the MSF degree.

Curriculum

Students may count up to 6 credits of 500-level finance courses towards the 400-level economics concentration electives. The courses available are:

FIN 532 - Economics for Financial Professionals (3 CH)
FIN 533 - Derivatives & Risk Management (3 CH) replaces FIN 433
FIN 540 - Portfolio Management and Wealth Planning (3 CH) replaces FIN 440

Applicants must have a?GPA of 2.5?or higher on a U.S. 4.0 scale to be considered for admission. Students must have completed the high school. English Proficiency: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) - minimum score of 71 on the Internet-based exam. International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - minimum score of 6.0 on the academic module. Duolingo English Test (DET) - minimum score of 54, Pearson PTE - minimum score 54.
