項(xiàng)目背景：俄烏沖突已持續(xù)一年之久。這場沖突不僅是俄烏間的軍事沖突，而且是俄羅斯與美國及其盟友之間的經(jīng)濟(jì)戰(zhàn)。在戰(zhàn)事和經(jīng)濟(jì)制裁等連鎖反應(yīng)下，世界股市、匯市、原油、糧食和有色金屬期貨市場等隨之反復(fù)震蕩。俄羅斯和烏克蘭作為全球能源、工業(yè)原材料和農(nóng)產(chǎn)品的重要供給國和連接歐亞大陸的重要運(yùn)輸通道，是全球主要產(chǎn)業(yè)的重要參與者，有著“牽一發(fā)而動全身”的影響。俄烏沖突及由此引發(fā)的經(jīng)濟(jì)制裁，給本就不穩(wěn)定的全球產(chǎn)業(yè)鏈供應(yīng)鏈帶來更大風(fēng)暴。從中長期看，全球產(chǎn)業(yè)鏈供應(yīng)鏈調(diào)整和重構(gòu)將因俄烏沖突而加快。受此影響，全球產(chǎn)業(yè)鏈供應(yīng)鏈布局從過去基于比較成本優(yōu)勢原則轉(zhuǎn)向兼顧成本、效益和安全，成本效益最大化不再是決定全球產(chǎn)業(yè)分工格局最重要的決定性因素，風(fēng)險和安全作為新變量進(jìn)入生產(chǎn)函數(shù)，成為影響跨國企業(yè)布局加工制造基地的重要考量，很多企業(yè)甚至愿意犧牲部分效益以保證安全。

項(xiàng)目介紹：本項(xiàng)目將把重點(diǎn)放在1989年以后時期的政治與歐洲國家經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展歷史。比較政治是政治科學(xué)和PPE的核心領(lǐng)域之一，通過比較不同國家經(jīng)驗(yàn)的方法來研究政治與經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展。自1989年以來，歐洲國家見證了政治自由主義的興衰，民粹主義爆炸和區(qū)域經(jīng)濟(jì)一體化的快速發(fā)展。歐洲大陸的民族國家經(jīng)歷了民主政治過渡以及從社會主義經(jīng)濟(jì)向市場經(jīng)濟(jì)的過渡。本項(xiàng)目將通過比較各國的政治治理經(jīng)驗(yàn)和經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展歷史來研究這些西方經(jīng)濟(jì)與政治的交互作用和影響。學(xué)生將深入了解西歐和東歐之間的差異，歐洲民粹主義盛行背后的原因以及許多其他發(fā)展，并獲得政治與經(jīng)濟(jì)的核心概念。值得注意的是，最近發(fā)生的俄烏紛爭的背后，有諸多歐洲政治歷史與歐盟經(jīng)濟(jì)甚至美國經(jīng)濟(jì)息息相關(guān)的潛藏聯(lián)系。如何洞察這場紛爭的本質(zhì)，其實(shí)需要對二戰(zhàn)后歐洲的政治局勢與歷史發(fā)展，尤其是歐盟經(jīng)濟(jì)一體化發(fā)展有著深刻的認(rèn)識。  

This course combines an introduction to comparative politics with a history of Europe’s political development, focusing on the period after 1989. Comparative politics is one of the core fields of political science. It is the study of political development using the method of comparing different national experiences. Europe since 1989 is an ideal environment for developing an understanding of comparative politics. The continent’s nation states have gone through democratic political transitions as well as transitions from socialist to market-based economies. European politics since 1989 has witnessed the rise and fall of political liberalism, a populist explosion, and regional economic integration. This course will study these developments by comparing national experiences. Students would gain an in-depth knowledge of differences between Western and Eastern Europe, the causes behind Europe’s populist explosion, and many other developments, as well as being given the basic skills and concepts of comparative politics. The students would also learn to work in groups and how to present their ideas in an organized and convincing way. At the end of the programme, students would be given a list of presentation topics. In the oral presentation, each student would be required to present one part of the presentation and they should accompany their oral presentation with a Powerpoint presentation. In addition, each student would submit a summary of their part of the presentation as a written text.
