L2:關(guān)于海底的一種新的natural gas的利弊。這種新能源的優(yōu)點(diǎn)是干凈和利用率高，缺點(diǎn)是不好提取和儲(chǔ)存，容易泄漏，而且這種能源存在于海底，它的含量很多，但是很難開采，還需要研究。

L3:關(guān)于一個(gè)地方的松鼠是如何御敵的。一種方法是用叫聲嚇跑敵人，這個(gè)方法對(duì)一些warm blood & mammal有用，但是對(duì)snake不行，因?yàn)樗鼈兟牪灰?。?duì)于rattle snake, 因?yàn)樗鼈兊难劬χ荒芟窦t外線一樣通過熱量辨識(shí)，所以松鼠搖動(dòng)尾巴，使溫度上升，讓snake以為它們的體積很大，不敢輕舉妄動(dòng)。而對(duì)于另一種visual很好的snake則要使用另外一種方法。

有個(gè)歐洲人上來一艘愛琴海aegen sea reserach ship船，經(jīng)常穿梭于兩個(gè)海域之間，他做了一個(gè)極長(zhǎng)無比的網(wǎng)子，從海上撈魚，更具他多年的經(jīng)驗(yàn)，根據(jù)撈起來的魚的種類判斷，海里的動(dòng)物分成為8層，漁網(wǎng)來捕撈海底的生物。他做了1300英尺深的探索，發(fā)現(xiàn)下面的水中生物分為了8層，并且斷定在1800尺下面沒有生物了，這個(gè)說法太可笑了，而且很多人當(dāng)時(shí)竟然都相信。
接下里說還有一個(gè)更可笑的說法，有兩人一個(gè)人說海底全是冰，并下面不會(huì)有動(dòng)物。他們愚昧的忽視了冰的密度比水小，會(huì)浮在水面上，還有個(gè)人說海底下面試密度很大的壓縮水，導(dǎo)致動(dòng)物不能生存，繼續(xù)愚昧，其實(shí)水在自然狀態(tài)下是不會(huì)被壓縮的。
然后說前兩種都是胡說，其實(shí)有個(gè)人，Sir John Ross早在第 一 個(gè)人之前就整理了水底是有動(dòng)物的，不是什么8層冰層的問題，他在1818年就已經(jīng)從更深的地方捕到過海洋生物。他也做過一個(gè)實(shí)驗(yàn)，在另一個(gè)海搜索，其實(shí)已經(jīng)比第一個(gè)人他說的更深了。
最后說為什么第一個(gè)人的實(shí)驗(yàn)錯(cuò)了：第 一個(gè)原因是愛琴海是比較特殊的海底生物比較少的海，第二忽視了海底的魚比較小的問題，那個(gè)人的漁網(wǎng)太大而且有洞，海底的魚都跑了。海底水壓大，魚都長(zhǎng)得比較扁，他做的漁網(wǎng)網(wǎng)眼太大了，魚都跑沒了。

2.物種豐富 diversity的ecosystem比較能適應(yīng)物種變化。

講生物多樣性對(duì)ecosystem的平衡是否有好處，給了很多例子，但是結(jié)論是biodiversity對(duì)eco-system的發(fā)展是否有好處任然有待商榷

3.第一段說有個(gè)美國(guó)小城干旱缺水，一般城內(nèi)使用水利設(shè)施采水，城外自己打井，水源來自附近雪山：
第二段說久而久之由于global warming，山上的積雪變少，原本山上有個(gè)湖，以前水很多，現(xiàn)在所剩不多了;
第三段說農(nóng)民完全依賴于灌溉系統(tǒng)。但是水分配不是按照比例來的，而是按照一個(gè)絕對(duì)的水量數(shù)值，但是這個(gè)數(shù)值是某個(gè)雨水豐富的年份采集的，在多數(shù)年份都根本不夠分;
第四段：說山上水少了，就可能產(chǎn)生沖突，分水的原則是按先來后到，但是先來的農(nóng)民都在下游，這些農(nóng)民取了水，后來的農(nóng)民住在上游，反而就更沒有法采水了，結(jié)果上游農(nóng)民急眼了，就會(huì)截流，下游農(nóng)民就可以起訴，搞得雞飛狗跳。
