This course helps you to start your degree at DMU with the International Year Zero (IYZ). You will take an extra year of study at DMUIC in order to complete your degree at DMU. Students who take the IYZ will continue to the first year of study of their chosen International Incorporated Bachelor's degree programme at DMU.

On the Life Sciences IYZ, you will be given a thorough grounding in human biology and chemistry to ensure you have the skills and expertise to continue your degree. With access to the university’s state-of-the-art laboratories, you will study of how the body works and learn about the micro-organisms which cause infection as well as how disease is treated. Expect to develop your scientific and critical skills as you begin your career in biomedical sciences at DMU.
