The BAS degree in Cyber security and Networking is designed to prepare students for employment in a variety of information technology (IT) positions, such as information security analysts, network and computer systems administrators or computer support specialists.

Students who successfully complete this program will be able to:

  • Analyze the security vulnerabilities of an organization’s information technology resources.
  • Plan and implement security measures and practices for an organization’s information technology resources.
  • Plan, implement, administer, and support appropriate information technologies and systems to help an organization achieve its goals and objectives. Information technologies and systems may include: servers, client computers, mobile devices, operating systems, network applications, local area networks, wide area networks, wireless networks, network segments, intranets, and so on.
  • Evaluate user needs and use those needs to plan the implementation of information technology systems that meet those needs.
  • Prepare for industry certification exams.

This degree provides students with the opportunity to acquire a deep technical foundation and competency in cybersecurity and networking. Students will learn how to analyze the security vulnerabilities of an organization’s IT resources, and how to plan and implement security measures and practices for those resources. Students will learn how to plan, implement, administer, secure, and support appropriate information technologies and systems to help an organization achieve its goals and objectives. Information technologies and systems may include: servers, client computers, mobile devices, operating systems, network applications, local area networks, wide area networks, wireless networks, network segments, intranets, and so on.

Admission to the college is open to anyone who has a high school diploma or is at least 18 years old. English Proficiency requirements: IELTS of 5.5 with no band lower than 5.0; Cambridge General Certificate of Education (GCE) O level passing score in English; Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE) of no lower than 46;Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) English as First Language score of C or higher; or English as Second Language score of B; iTEP (International Test of English Proficiency) Academic Score 4.5 or above; TOEFL 61/173/500 or higher on the international TOEFL.
