Through a Murdoch Double Major Degree in Cyber Security and Criminology, you will develop a broader grasp of various facets of crime, bolstering your criminology knowledge through the understanding of cybercrime and computer security.

Criminology is an analysis-driven field which delves into the inner workings of the criminal psyche, and with the rise of cybercrime and related technologies, this Double Major combination enables you to better understand criminal minds and combat crime in both the physical and virtual spaces.

Acquiring knowledge from both fields in topics such as “Cyber Forensics and Information Technology” and “Criminal Behaviour”, enhances your overall perspective of both subjects. This provides a competitive and professional edge, granting more career opportunities while also keeping your skills refined and relevant.

Students who successfully complete and pass the modules stipulated in the course structure will be awarded the Bachelor of Business in Banking and Marketing (Double Major) from Murdoch University. The Degree is exactly the same as that awarded to on-campus graduates in Australia.

Students with Polytechnic Diplomas will gain entry to Year 2 of the programme, and they can complete the programme in 16 months instead of 28 months. The Bachelor of Arts in Tourism and Events and Human Resource Management (Double Major) accepts a wide range of qualifications with advanced standing: These include: Polytechnic Diploma; Advanced Diploma; Kaplan Diploma; Private Diploma will be assessed on a case-by-case basis ACCA. Applicants admitted to the programme may be required to undertake bridging units to fulfil the required prerequisite knowledge. The final decision rests with Murdoch University. Successful completion of a recognized approved Diploma qualification of higher, where the language of instruction was English. English Language Requirements: IELTS 6.0 – 6.5 (to be assessed by the university).
