Lincoln University's Bachelor of Science with Honours is a one year qualification taken by students who have completed a relevant undergraduate degree - usually the Bachelor of Science. The honours year gives a solid grounding for real world application of science to the land-based sectors.
Lincoln's scientific knowledge, research and teaching styles are directed at the sustainable management and conservation of land, water and air, and natural resources.

Summary of Regulations
All of the following:
? 80 credits (4 courses) at the 600 level
? A 40 credit dissertation.

Compulsory Courses
Students may choose any combination of courses which meet their interests, form a coherent course of study, and fulfil the prerequisite requirements and regulations.

The regulations require at least 60 credits at the 600 level from an ANSC, BICH, BIOS, COMP, ECOL, ENGN, ENTO, FOOD, GENE, HORT, MICR, PHSC, PLPT, QMET, SOSC or WINE code, or
ERST 621 Principles of Environmental Impact Assessment
ERST631

LWST 602 Advanced Resource Management and Planning Law
plus a dissertation (40 credits) in the discipline area.

Students can start in:

University Entrance through NCEA, or an approved equivalent qualification. International qualifications. GCE ‘A’ Levels A minimum of 3 results with at least 1 grade at Level C or above. (General Studies is not to be used as one of the results.). English Language Requirements: IELTS academic score of 6.0 overall, with no individual component less than 5.5; TOEFL (iBT) overall score of 60 (with at least 18 in writing); Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) and First (FCE) overall score of 169, with no individual component less than 162; Pearson Test of English (Academic) overall score of 50 with no communicative skills score less than 42; NZ Certificates in English Language (NZCEL) Level 4 (Academic Endorsement); Lincoln University English Language LU EL 65%.
