The Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Digital Media Studies (Honours) program offers a four-year degree with a high-quality, socially relevant curriculum designed to provide students with a strong foundation in the theory and practice of communication in the 21st century. Students must have completed a Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate and Huikao, or similar provincial examination results. Applicants are required to submit both their academic transcript indicating all subjects taken and grades achieved and a copy of their graduation certificate and results. Students are required to complete international academic qualification equivalent to Canada Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). Applicants must complete the appropriate number of courses and the program-specific subject prerequisites in their secondary school or post-secondary studies prior to pursuing university-level studies. English language proficiency requirements: International English Language Testing System (IELTS): Overall score of 6.5 with no sub-score less than 6.0, Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB): Minimum score of 85. Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: Minimum score of 58, Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): Internet-based test (iBT) with a total score of 83, and minimum scaled scores of Listening: 20; Reading: 20; Speaking: 19; and Writing: 20.
