Our academically robust and intellectually stimulating degree programmes are delivered by our team of academics, technical demonstrators and invited experts who together deliver excellence in learning, teaching and assessment. You will engage with a range of processes including 2D, 3D, 4D and hybrid practices, and workshops in drawing, painting, sculpture, performance, video, sound, printmaking and critical writing. You’ll learn to work to a brief, explore creative ideas singularly and with peers, and manage independent projects to conclusion. You will develop a professional understanding of the creative activity of external partners, including galleries and practising artists. You will be able to place your work within the wider context of contemporary fine art practice, preparing you for your career or further study.Alongside dedicated studio workspace, you can access bookable ‘project spaces’, Mac suites, drawing studios, workshops for fine art printmaking, ceramics, glass, wood and plastics, our Fab Lab and Equipment Resource Centre.The college’s public exhibition space, The Gallery, draws a range of international artists and shows; you will have opportunities to attend artists’ talks, workshops and screenings.You will also have opportunities to engage with organisations, galleries and museums including KARST, Ocean Studios, The Box, Spike Island, Tate galleries and Newlyn Art Gallery.
