You'll explore the science of life, whether it's at the level of Cells, Molecules and Physiology or up to the world of Ecology, Evolution and Conservation. Aside from these two streams, you can also build your own program in the General Stream. This degree will prepare you for graduate school or a future in biomedical research, ecology and more.

Biological Sciences in the Faculty of Science studies our entire biological world. You can start this program at the Surrey campus.

The Biological Sciences Major combines a broad foundation in the lower division with specialization in upper division. After completing their lower division courses, students select one of 3 concentrations: Cells, Molecules, Physiology (CMP); Ecology, Evolution, Conservation (EEC); or Open concentration.

Applicants need a minimum of 70% in Senior Year 2 or Senior Year 3 Mathematics for admission (based on a 60% pass scale); Submit transcript which includes grades for all courses completed and final grades for the first semester of Senior Year 3. Admission is calculated on Senior Year 3 academic subjects. Other English Language Requirements accepted: A minimum?TOEFL?score of 580 (paper-based).
