Regardless of whether you intend to be a creative author, non-fiction writer or produce textbooks for a specialist audience, the ability to write clearly and effectively is a highly sought-after skill in any profession. The Bachelor of Arts (Major: Writing) is an intensive writing degree that will prepare you to research, write and edit a wide range of written materials. During the program you will study everything from literary works to technical journals and websites; looking at the works of others will also allow you to improve the range and depth or your own writing ability.

You will also gain valuable training in researching and editing, both of which are crucial skills for any writer.

English Language Requirements: IELTS (Academic) - 6.5 overall, with no individual band score lower than 6.0; CAE/CPE - 176 overall, with no individual band score lower than 169; PTE Academic - 58 overall, with no individual band score lower than 50; TOEFL (iBT) - 84 overall, with no score lower than 21 in writing and no other band score lower than 17.
