Travel abroad, immerse yourself in the French culture, learn a new language and complete a dual degree, all at the same time. This four-year dual degree program enables you to work towards both a Bachelor of Arts degree at Sciences Po in France, and a Bachelor of Arts degree with us at the University of Sydney.

The first of its kind in Australia, two of the world's leading institutions for the humanities and social sciences, the University of Sydney's Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and Sciences Po in France, have come together to offer students a new dual degree program.

The four-year dual degree program is available to both international and domestic students and was offered for the first time in 2016. If accepted into the program, you will work towards both a Bachelor of Arts degree at Sciences Po and a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Sydney.

You will complete the first two years of the program in France, at one of three regional campuses. Each campus focuses on a particular region of the world:

Le Havre - located on the Normandy Coast, focuses on the relationship between Europe and Asia.

Menton - located on the French Riviera, focuses on the relationships between the northern and southern sides of the Mediterranean, as well as the analysis of the links between Europe and the Middle East.

Reims - located in the Champagne region, 45 minutes outside of Paris, focuses on the comparative understanding of Europe and North America.

The Bachelor of Arts at the University of Sydney

Years three and four of the Dual Degree program will commence in semester two of the University of Sydney calendar, typically beginning in August.

The Bachelor of Arts provides an outstanding liberal arts education. Offering broad choice across more than 45 subject areas in the humanities and social sciences, very few Arts degrees are quite the same. You will be encouraged to tailor your studies to suit your interests, with the chance to incorporate up to two majors in your degree.
