This is an undergraduate degree programme in commerce with a specialisation in Actuarial Studies that will produce graduates capable of bringing in quantitative analytics from actuarial modelling tools to commercial operations. They should be able to perform in-depth business analysis to expand customer accessibility and design business models for enhancement of profitability, skills that are of high demand in any industry. It is a wise investment for younger students who want to have a promising career in this field in the future.

Career Opportunities

Graduates of our counterpart programme in the Kuala Lumpur campus find employment in insurance industries as actuarial executives. For those who prefer to work outside insurance businesses, they may pursue a career in the banking or investment sectors. Some of our graduates choose to build their career in business analysis or financial risk management.
