The dynamic environment of fashion buying provides diverse, challenging and exciting opportunities in roles such as trend analysis, fashion buying, merchandising, new product development, and sourcing. The International Fashion Buying Management course prepared me for the fashion world that I have now entered in to. It gave me the confidence to believe in my own creative ideas and vision. This was awarded in June 2017 and is reviewed every five years. The accreditation recognises the quality and excellence of the course’s provision, and that it meets the educational standards required by the relevant specialisations within the Textiles industry. Students who graduate from this course can apply for the professional qualification, Associateship and Chartered Membership of the Textile Institute, after a shorter period of work experience than is usually required, or in some cases directly on graduation.
