項(xiàng)目背景:生物技術(shù)是20世紀(jì)70年代初在分子生物學(xué)和細(xì)胞生物學(xué)基礎(chǔ)上結(jié)合現(xiàn)代工程學(xué)的方法和原理而發(fā)展起來的一門綜合性科學(xué)技術(shù),以基因工程、蛋白質(zhì)工程、細(xì)胞工程為基礎(chǔ)的現(xiàn)代生物技術(shù)是21世紀(jì)科技創(chuàng)新的前沿,代表了高新技術(shù)發(fā)展的方向。其在醫(yī)療保健、環(huán)保及食品領(lǐng)域的應(yīng)用對(duì)改善人類的醫(yī)療與生存環(huán)境、提高疾病預(yù)防、診斷及治療技術(shù)都產(chǎn)生了深刻的影響。本項(xiàng)目將帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生一起探究生物技術(shù)對(duì)人類健康的重要影響。
項(xiàng)目介紹:本項(xiàng)目旨在深入探討細(xì)胞生物學(xué)、基因?qū)W和生物技術(shù)這三個(gè)關(guān)鍵領(lǐng)域。課程將從細(xì)胞的結(jié)構(gòu)、功能和生命過程開始,解析細(xì)胞是如何執(zhí)行各種基本生命活動(dòng)的。接著,學(xué)生將深入了解基因?qū)W的基礎(chǔ),涵蓋基因結(jié)構(gòu)、表達(dá)和調(diào)控機(jī)制,以及遺傳學(xué)的最新發(fā)展。生物技術(shù)是現(xiàn)代生命科學(xué)領(lǐng)域的前沿,該課程還將引導(dǎo)學(xué)生了解生物技術(shù)的概念、原理和應(yīng)用。通過實(shí)例分析,學(xué)生將了解生物技術(shù)在醫(yī)學(xué)、農(nóng)業(yè)和工業(yè)等領(lǐng)域的廣泛應(yīng)用,并探討其在生物醫(yī)學(xué)研究、基因工程和生物制藥等方面的前景。導(dǎo)師會(huì)具體講解SARS-CoV-2疫苗如何起作用,人體免疫系統(tǒng)如何抵御這種病毒。課程后期,學(xué)生需要自選一種疾病,設(shè)計(jì)出針對(duì)某一種蛋白質(zhì)確診/治療這種疾病的方法,并提交項(xiàng)目報(bào)告,進(jìn)行成果展示。 個(gè)性化研究課題參考:自身免疫疾病的靶點(diǎn)與藥物研發(fā),神經(jīng)退行性疾病的生物治療進(jìn)展,微生物生物技術(shù)
This project aims to explore in depth the three key areas of cell biology, genetics and biotechnology. The course will begin with the structure, function, and life processes of the cell, analyzing how the cell performs various basic life activities. Students will then gain an in-depth understanding of the fundamentals of genetics, covering gene structure, expression and regulatory mechanisms, as well as the latest developments in genetics. Biotechnology is at the forefront of the modern life sciences field and the course will also guide students to understand the concepts, principles and applications of biotechnology. Through case studies, students will learn about the wide range of applications of biotechnology in fields such as medicine, agriculture and industry, and explore its prospects in biomedical research, genetic engineering and biopharmaceuticals. The instructor will explain in detail how the SARS-CoV-2 vaccine works and how the body's immune system fights off the virus. At the end of the course, students need to choose a disease, design a method to diagnose/treat the disease based on a certain protein, and submit a project report to show the results.
