項(xiàng)目介紹
An average person, in developed countries, tends to spend 90% of their time indoors, therefore the quality of the indoor world is enormously important to our well-being. The seminar workshop course aims to derive profound insights and deeper understanding of how interior environments can be shaped so they support human wellbeing and positively address physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual needs – _concerns that are at the core of any human being and aspiring interior architect/designer. This course engages students interested in architecture and design, through lectures, discussions and project assignments that relate the field of Interior Architecture. Forms of Interior Interventions are discussed, from light and color, materiality, spatial sequencing, to dualities such as old - new, past - present, inside - outside, rough - smooth, etc . Presentations and projects will start with our thinking on design creativity, design processes and forms of design interventions that will engage the past with the present on the human and spatial scale.
本項(xiàng)目旨在帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生學(xué)生了解到優(yōu)秀且人性化的室內(nèi)建筑設(shè)計(jì)可以為居住和工作在之中的人們帶來的多層面的益處,從而獲得對建筑內(nèi)在設(shè)計(jì)的重要性深刻理解。項(xiàng)目通過探討具體室內(nèi)設(shè)計(jì)方案及完工案例,討論優(yōu)秀室內(nèi)設(shè)計(jì)能帶給人類的福祉———身體、情感、智力和精神層面的滿足。在現(xiàn)代社會中的發(fā)達(dá)國家,一個(gè)普通人一天內(nèi)90%的時(shí)間往往都在室內(nèi)活動,因此室內(nèi)世界的質(zhì)量對人類幸福指數(shù)的影響毋庸置疑。同時(shí)項(xiàng)目通過討論室內(nèi)設(shè)計(jì)相關(guān)講座、業(yè)內(nèi)話題和具體施工作業(yè),幫助對實(shí)體工程和建筑設(shè)計(jì)感興趣的學(xué)生了解更多實(shí)際施工中的業(yè)內(nèi)經(jīng)驗(yàn)和經(jīng)典案列。同時(shí)項(xiàng)目從二元論法的角度,通過對采光和顏色、材料、空間順序,新派和舊派,過去與現(xiàn)在、室內(nèi)與室外、粗獷與細(xì)膩等元素的討論,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生思考什么是室內(nèi)設(shè)計(jì)干預(yù)。本項(xiàng)目的最終演講和報(bào)告將從設(shè)計(jì)創(chuàng)造力、設(shè)計(jì)過程和室內(nèi)設(shè)計(jì)干預(yù)的形式等思考作為主要討論元素,選擇自己感興趣的話題,完成報(bào)告。

羅德島設(shè)計(jì)學(xué)院終身教授&注冊建筑師(SBA)
Markus is a registered architect (SBA) in the Netherlands and principal of the Providence-based art/design workshop The Repair Atelier. Markus is co-founder and co-editor of the journal Int|AR, which encompasses issues of adaptive reuse, preservation, conservation and spatial alteration. He is also on the editorial board of the journals INTERIORITY (Indonesia) and SISU-LINE (Estonia). Through his work as an artist, architect, designer, editor and writer, and through his research and teaching, critiques conventional architectural thinking and practices and explores how art and design modifications and interventions can activate change in the built environment. Forms of modification, transformation, intervention, reuse and repair are central to Markus's research and work. His recently published essays include Death of the Architect: Appropriation and Interior Architecture, INTERIORITIES (Interior Reader, edited by Gregory Marinic, Routledge, 2017) and Imagination as an Act: Extended Realities in Interior Urbanism (The Interior Urbanism Reader, with M Grugl, Routledge, 2020).

任職學(xué)校
美國羅德島設(shè)計(jì)學(xué)院(Rhode Island School of Design 簡稱RISD),1877年在美國里約熱內(nèi)盧的普羅維登斯成立,至今已有近140年的悠久歷史,是美國最早的藝術(shù)和設(shè)計(jì)學(xué)院之一。并在QS世界大學(xué)排名(2019)的世界前25的設(shè)計(jì)學(xué)院中,RISD排名第四。學(xué)院設(shè)有建筑、設(shè)計(jì)、純藝術(shù)和藝術(shù)教育等19個(gè)方向的本科和研究生專業(yè)。熱門的科系有:建筑Architecture、平面設(shè)計(jì)Graphic Design插畫Illustration等。學(xué)院十分注重學(xué)生的基本功,入學(xué)后第一年的基礎(chǔ)課程 (first year foundation) 里,學(xué)校會要求學(xué)生修讀設(shè)計(jì)課程,像是平面設(shè)計(jì)、立體設(shè)計(jì)、素描、手繪等等,羅德島設(shè)計(jì)學(xué)院注重手工實(shí)作,以此來訓(xùn)練學(xué)生扎實(shí)的的基本功夫與反復(fù)推敲的思考方法。學(xué)院總共培養(yǎng)了30465名優(yōu)秀畢業(yè)生,他們的足跡遍布于美國乃至全世界,很多畢業(yè)生成為了20世紀(jì)設(shè)計(jì)領(lǐng)域的行業(yè)翹楚。尤其是在工業(yè)、產(chǎn)品、插圖、室內(nèi)、建筑、景觀、攝影、繪畫、雕塑等設(shè)計(jì)藝術(shù)領(lǐng)域,RISD畢業(yè)生的表現(xiàn)尤為突出。
