申請美國大學(xué)最常用的兩個(gè)申請系統(tǒng)是Common Application和CAAS。這兩個(gè)申請系統(tǒng)中都有各自的文書題目，各位準(zhǔn)備留學(xué)的小伙伴快來看看吧！

首先，我們先來介紹Common Application系統(tǒng)里面的文書。Common Application是一個(gè)廣泛使用的大學(xué)申請系統(tǒng)，學(xué)生注冊之后就可以在系統(tǒng)中上傳成績單和文書，之后提交給學(xué)校，非常方便。今年，Common Application進(jìn)行了文書的改革，從去年的5個(gè)增加到了7個(gè)，分別是：

1. Some students have a background, identity, interest or talent that is so meaningful they believe their application would be incomplete without it. If this sounds like you, then please share your story. [No change]

2. The lessons we take from obstacles we encounter can be fundamental to later success. Recount a time when you faced a challenge, setback or failure. How did it affect you, and what did you learn from the experience? [Revised]

3. Reflect on a time when you questioned or challenged a belief or idea. What prompted your thinking? What was the outcome? [Revised]

4. Describe a problem you’ve solved or a problem you’d like to solve. It can be an intellectual challenge, a research query, an ethical dilemma — anything that is of personal importance, no matter the scale. Explain its significance to you and what steps you took or could be taken to identify a solution. [No change]

5. Discuss an accomplishment, event or realization that sparked a period of personal growth and a new understanding of yourself or others. [Revised]

6. Describe a topic, idea or concept you find so engaging that it makes you lose all track of time. Why does it captivate you? What or who do you turn to when you want to learn more? [New]

7. Share an essay on any topic of your choice. It can be one you’ve already written, one that responds to a different prompt, or one of your own design. [New]

接下來，我們來看看CAAS系統(tǒng)中的文書題目。CAAS系統(tǒng)中一共有5個(gè)文書題目，其中4個(gè)是“命題作文”，1個(gè)是“自命題作文”。5個(gè)題目分別是：

1. Tell a story from your life,describing an experience that either demonstrates your character or helped toshape it.

4. What is the hardest part ofbeing a teenager now? What’s the best part? What advice would you give ayounger sibling or friend (assuming they would listen to you)? 

5. Submit an essay on a topic of your choice.
