美國文理學(xué)院對(duì)于10月SAT考試分?jǐn)?shù)Delay的答復(fù)

10月11日亞洲區(qū)SAT分?jǐn)?shù)Delay使眾多考生擔(dān)心EA/ED受影響，美國排名前30的文理學(xué)院的Admission Office截至到10月31日12:00，已有20所文理學(xué)院對(duì)此進(jìn)行答復(fù)：

1. Williams College

Thank you for writing to us regarding students who may apply to Williams this year.

The ED application deadline is November 15th but students still have a week or two to get all their required materials to us， so your students should be just fine.

I would strongly suggest that any student who does apply for ED， is fully aware that is is binding and they must attend if admitted.  Entering into a commitment such as this， is not to be taken lightly， so we stress that a student should only apply for ED if they are 100% committed to attending.

2. Amherst College

To alert us to the fact that you are among the October 11th test takers affected by the score reporting delay， you should send an email to admission@amherst.edu with that information and include a copy of the official College Board notification that your October 11th score report is among those delayed. Please use the subject line “ED October SAT Score Delay” for your email and be sure to provide sufficient identifying information (full name， date of birth， name and location of high school) so that we can accurately match your email to your application.

To ensure that Amherst College receives your test scores in a timely fashion， you must take prompt action once your scores are released. As soon as your October 11th SAT score report is available to you online through the College Board website， you should either fax a copy of your online score report to +1-413-542-2040 or email a screen shot or PDF of the online report toadmission@amherst.edu with the subject line “ED October SAT Test Scores.”  Again， be sure to provide full indentifying information.

In addition to providing us with prompt information about your released score via fax or email， please note that we must receive your official SAT score report from the College Board by Monday， November 24th at 8：30 a.m. (EST). All other ED application materials， including official score reports for the two required SAT Subject Tests， must be received by the standard November 15th ED deadline.

成績已delay的同學(xué)應(yīng)郵件聯(lián)系A(chǔ)mherst，按照要求提交delay證明。成績一旦公布，應(yīng)立即按照要求發(fā)送電報(bào)或發(fā)送成績截圖。11月24日前需正式提交SAT1成績，其余申請(qǐng)材料的提交需在11月15日完成。

3. Swarthmore College

Our Early Decision application deadline is Nov 15， and while we prefer to have all credentials in hand by that date， we will continue to accept and review credentials through late November.

ED需在11月15日前提交分?jǐn)?shù)和申請(qǐng)材料，但材料的審定要延續(xù)到11月末。

4. Wellesley College

Thank you for your message！ We are aware of the October SAT result delays that may be occurring because of College Board administrative review. The College Board has informed us that it will start releasing scores from the affected regions in mid-November. As long we receive Early Decision applicants' October test scores by December 1st， these scores will be considered in the Early Decision process.

5. Middlebury College

We are aware of this situation. We will accept your student's test scores when they are reported. We will make note of this in your application. Thanks for your email.

6. Carleton College

Hello from Carleton admissions！  We know of the issues surrounding SAT score for test-takers in Hong Kong and have advised students that if the scores are here by November 21st they will be in time for our Fall-Early Decision round.  Our advice is that if students have taken an earlier SAT test it would be wise to send us that score so that files can be completed and read by our admissions officers.

7. Claremont McKenna College

We have Early Decision I and II and Regular Decision.  The deadline for ED I round is 1 November 2014.

We are aware of the 11 October SAT scores issue， and we understand our applicants' concern with how this may affect their Early Decision I application.  We have already communicated to those who reached out to us.

CMC will continue to honor its commitment to reviewing all Early Decision I applications as long as the Common Application is submitted by November 1st.  CMC will conduct a comprehensive review of each student's application once the SAT scores have been received by the CMC Admission Office.  Should the delivery of the test scores be delayed beyond December 1st， decisions may be released after December 15th.

8. Davidson College

Davidson will continue to honor its commitment to review all Early Decision I applications as long as the Common Application and all other supporting documents are submitted by November 15.

9. Vassar College

Hello， Thank you for your email.  Our deadline is Nov. 15， we will accept scores received through November.

10. Washington and Lee University

Based on the information that we have received， the SAT issue will not affect Early Decision applicants. Score reports-even delayed scores--should be received in November， which should give the international committee time to read and meet on those applications with the updated scores

接收11月內(nèi)出的分?jǐn)?shù)，不會(huì)受影響。

11. Colby College

Colby requires that Early Decision applicants complete all testing by the November 15th deadline.  It will not interfere with their application that the October scores are delayed since they took the test prior to the November 15th deadline.

只要是11月15日之前參加的考試，成績何時(shí)出都會(huì)接收。

12. Hamilton College

We were informed by the College Board yesterday that the October 11th test date score results have been delayed， but that they expect them to be available by mid-November.  As our ED1 deadline is November 15th， so as long as we receive the students' scores by that date (or very shortly afterward)， we would be able to consider them as an ED1 applicants.

To be considered for ED1， the students' Common Applications need to be submitted no later than November 15， 2014.  While it would be ideal to have their applications complete on November 15th， it is okay if some of the other application materials come in shortly after the deadline.  Once we receive the applications， we will send the students a username and password for our web site that will give them access to a checklist of required application materials.

Deadline 是11月15日，稍晚幾天也OK，可以先提交申請(qǐng)材料，之后再全補(bǔ)齊。

13. Harvey Mudd College

Thank you for your interest in Harvey Mudd College. As long as the results are released by mid-November， the students should be fine. We also understand that the issue is out of the students' control， so they shouldn't worry too much about the scores.

14. Wesleyan University

That said， if you have female students who are interested in applying to Wesleyan College for early decision， our deadline is not until November 15th. We are happy to be flexible， however， and if students are able to get the rest of their materials in by the 15th (free online application， official transcript， the letters of recommendation， and a TOEFL score if applicable)， then we would be happy to consider them Early Decision even if the SAT scores are a few days late. This will also ensure that these students receive Scholarship Priority consideration in accordance with their ED preference.

15. Grinnell College

We are aware that students taking the SAT？ and SAT Subject Tests？in Hong Kong during the October 2014 administration will be sitting for the exams on October 25，2014. Scores from this test date will be available to students online about three weeks after the test date. This means we should receive the scores on November 15th which is Grinnell's Early Decision 1 deadline.

Yes，our Early Decision I deadline is November 15 so scores received around that time through the end of November would be fine.

17. Colgate University

We have been notified about the delay in reporting and at this time， we still should have the student's results in time for our early decision process. We may be able to accept  scores from a November test date as long as they are submitted close to our November 15thdeadline.

18. Macalester College

We have Early Decision I and Early Decision II with deadlines of November 15th， 2014 and January 2nd， 2015 respectively.  We have been informed about the late SAT scores for Chinese and Korean students. We think that the SAT scores should arrive in time for the Early Decision I deadline but if they arrive a little late we will make accommodations.

19. Scripps College

Thank you for your email. We have been contacted by many students and counselors with this concern. Please assure your applicants that their ED1 applications will be reviewed and considered as long as we receive the SAT scores by December 1st and all other application requirements have been fulfilled.

20. Bryn Mawr College

Thank you for your email. Bryn Mawr College will accept the SAT scores from October if we receive them by the end of November for Early Decision.

總結(jié)：CB已經(jīng)告知各個(gè)學(xué)校有關(guān)10月11日SAT成績Delay的相關(guān)信息，大體上，文理學(xué)院都表示EA/ED申請(qǐng)不會(huì)受到過多影響。一些學(xué)院表示11月底之前出的分?jǐn)?shù)都可以接收，較多學(xué)院將11月15日定為deadline，但都表示晚幾天也無妨。

建議同學(xué)們事先與所報(bào)考的學(xué)校溝通，將自己的申請(qǐng)材料準(zhǔn)備齊全，如果學(xué)校允許先提交一部分，就可以先與學(xué)校聯(lián)系，提交部分材料，待SAT出分后再將材料補(bǔ)齊。總之，成績Delay對(duì)于EA/ED的影響看起來是較樂觀的，請(qǐng)準(zhǔn)備報(bào)考文理學(xué)院EA/ED的同學(xué)們放松一些，帶著良好的心態(tài)等待成績吧。
