Mr. Albert Jonathon is my physics teacher back in high school, and he is perhaps the most interesting foreign person I know about.

I first met him when he came to our high school to teach as a physics teacher. I was a freshman then. He has been my physics teacher throughout my high school years. Just so you know, apart from being a teacher, he also writes for a science magazine and works there as a part-time consultant.

Mr. Albert is someone very talented, a veteran in the field of science. However, he is a someone who believes in both superstitions and science. What I like most about this man is his creative and effective way of teaching, and I find him interesting mainly because of his personality and the way he behaves.

First of all, the way he dresses is quite primitive and outdated. Tell you what, a student in our school once mistakenly took him for some jobless man wandering about our campus. The student then called the security to get Mr. Albert out, but later found out he was a teacher at our school. Mr. Albert’s preference for wrist-watches and shoes is also quite exceptional, yet all of his watches and shoes are branded, must be quite expensive I guess.

Again, as a physics teacher, he often tells us ghost stories after class. You just won’t believe that a man like him would fall for something so unrealistic. I guess there must be something in common between superstitions and science, but who knows.

Besides, his fascination about stamps and coins is also quite interesting. I found that he was really into things that are popular mostly among children and could hardly be seen among adults.

He also has this rich collection of books, science, history, arts, you name it. Weird thing about it is, he never lends them to anyone, not even to his dearest students. As for the reason why, he once explained to us that those who borrowed his books hardly ever returned them back to him.

You see, everything I know about this person is quite interesting. Thus, he is probably the most interesting foreign person I have ever known.
