啥是補(bǔ)充文書?
申請(qǐng)美國大學(xué)時(shí),除了要提交通常一篇個(gè)人陳述文章(Personal Statement 簡稱PS)即Common Application系統(tǒng)里面的主文書外,很多學(xué)校還會(huì)另外出一些獨(dú)具特色的文章,我們這里統(tǒng)稱為補(bǔ)充文書(Supplement Essay)。
補(bǔ)充文書都包括什么?
1、 補(bǔ)充文書要求字?jǐn)?shù)偏少,一般在150-250字之間,最多不超過500字。
2、主題要求:與主文書確定的6個(gè)題目相比較,補(bǔ)充文書更加多元化,形式更加豐富,提問的范圍更加大。
3、一般來說,補(bǔ)充文書的題目設(shè)置是為了了解你是否適合這所大學(xué)。補(bǔ)充文書的題目很多是需要申請(qǐng)者提供申請(qǐng)?jiān)撔5脑颉⒆约簽槭裁催x擇此專業(yè)、做過什么相關(guān)活動(dòng)或?qū)嵙?xí)等等題目,需將自己和申請(qǐng)?jiān)盒5奶攸c(diǎn)有機(jī)的結(jié)合在一起來寫。
1、加州大學(xué)系統(tǒng)(錄取評(píng)估)
加州大學(xué)申請(qǐng)系統(tǒng)提供 8個(gè) Essay題目,任選 4個(gè)回答,每個(gè)不得超過 350字。題目任意選擇,無好壞之分,也不會(huì)影響錄取結(jié)果。
【Essay Option 1】
Describe an example of your leadership experience in which you have positively influenced others, helped resolve disputes or contributed to group efforts over time.
Leadership 不僅僅是頭銜,可以是導(dǎo)師、主角、特定負(fù)責(zé)人,也不僅限于學(xué)?;顒?dòng),可以是家庭、社區(qū)。你從中學(xué)到什么?擔(dān)當(dāng)了什么責(zé)任?改變了什么看法?
