項目介紹：

本項目將把重點放在1989年以后時期的政策管理與歐洲政治發(fā)展歷史。比較政治與歷史是公共政策管理的核心研究方向之一，通過比較不同國家經(jīng)驗的方法來研究國家和區(qū)域政策管理的發(fā)展。自1989年以來，歐洲國家見證了政治自由主義的興衰，民粹主義爆炸和區(qū)域經(jīng)濟一體化的快速發(fā)展。歐洲大陸的民族國家經(jīng)歷了民主政治過渡以及從社會主義經(jīng)濟向市場經(jīng)濟的過渡。本項目將通過比較歐洲各國的近代歷史和政策發(fā)展來對公共政策管理進行深度的解讀。學(xué)生將深入了解西歐和東歐之間的差異，歐洲民粹主義爆炸背后的原因以及許多其他歷史發(fā)展。 This seven-week online PBL course combines an introduction to comparative politics with a history of Europe’s political development, focusing on the period after 1989. Comparative politics is one of the core fields of political science. It is the study of political development using the method of comparing different national experiences. Europe since 1989 is an ideal environment for developing an understanding of comparative politics. The continent’s nation states have gone through democratic political transitions as well as transitions from socialist to market-based economies. European politics since 1989 has witnessed the rise and fall of political liberalism, a populist explosion, and regional economic integration. This course will study these developments by comparing national experiences. Students would gain an in-depth knowledge of differences between Western and Eastern Europe, the causes behind Europe’s populist explosion, and many other developments, as well as being given the basic skills and concepts of comparative politics. The students would also learn to work in groups and how to present their ideas in an organized and convincing way.
