CNN環(huán)球風采之體會巴黎風情

巴黎是一個國際化的大都市，也是很多同學向往的旅游勝地。那么大家對于巴黎的了解有多少呢？今天，留學監(jiān)理網(wǎng)的老師就來給大家推薦一個CNN的聽力資源，我們快跟著主持人的腳步來感受一下巴黎的浪漫風情吧。

I'm urban. I live in a very urban and fast city. What I like about Paris is the places where... that are not known and named, little streets that are not on the map. If you live in a city and if you're a director, whatever city you're gonna live in, you're gonna find beauty. It's not easy to describe Paris, it's so cinematic.

我是個市井之人。我生活在一個很市區(qū)化、調(diào)很快的城市。關于巴黎，我喜歡的是那些不為人所知和叫不出名字的地方，那些在地圖上找不到的小巷道。如果你居住在城市，而且你是位導演的話，無論住在哪個城市，你都將會發(fā)現(xiàn)美好的事物。描繪巴黎并不是件容易的事，它很有電影的感覺。

People have an intimate relationship with their own city and directors have the ability to show it within the screen.

人們和他們自己的城市有著密不可分的關系，而導演有能力通過屏幕表現(xiàn)出來。

I'm gonna show you Paris the way I see it and the way I live it, and the only way to go through Paris is on a scooter. So, come with me and we'll hit it.

我要讓你們看看我看巴黎的方式和我的生活形態(tài)，而唯一把巴黎走透的辦法就是騎摩托車。所以，跟我來，咱們四處逛逛吧。

When you walk around Paris, there's one interesting thing to do, is to look up. You'll see a lot of details at the top of the buildings that are really specific to Paris. I remember I used to drive around with my father and he was always looking up, never in front of him, but always up. Never had an accident, though.

當你在巴黎四處漫步，有件好玩的事一定要做，就是抬頭看。你會看到很多建筑物頂端細微修飾的部分，這真的是巴黎很特別的地方。記得我以前常和父親開車四處閑逛，他總是抬頭看，都不看他的前面，而是看上面，不過倒是沒發(fā)生過什么意外。

This is the 18th. This is where I used to live. This is [a] multicultural，totally mixed environment. This is a rough area. Nothing bad, it's just rough because it's lively. beautiful. What you've gotta understand about Paris, it's ... sometimes it's hard, it's hard neighborhoods. You always have a couple of hard-headed, you know, young kids who are doing whatever they can, whatever they want. But beside that, people are very, very friendly and very open-minded.

這里是第十八區(qū)，是我以前住的地方。這是一個融合多元文化、龍蛇雜處的環(huán)境。這是一個雜亂的地區(qū)，沒有什么不好，雜亂是因為它充滿生氣。這里很美。你要了解巴黎，它……有時候很冷酷，有些生活不容易的街坊社區(qū)。你總是會碰到一些冷酷強悍的人，你知道，像是任性妄為、想做什么就做什么的年輕人。但是除此之外，這里的人其實非常非常友善，心胸也很寬大。

We should stop and have a look at this. It's one of the markets of Paris. It's there and every week, every Wednesday, and it's all over Paris, so let's check it out. You can't smell it, but it smells good today. You can buy everything from clothes to food, and you have got fresh food, you have got bio-food. You have got everything here. So the good thing when you walk in these markets is people shouting to get the attention of the customers. It's very French.

我們應該停一下然后看看這里。這是巴黎的市場之一，每個周三都有，巴黎到處都有這種市集。我們來看看吧。你聞不到味道，但今天這里的味道很香。你可以買到任何東西，從衣服到食物都有，你也能買到新鮮的食材，還有生物食品。你在這里要找什么都有。當你逛這些市場時，很棒的一件事是人們會喊叫好吸引顧客的注意。

這非常有法國的感覺。

Montmartre is the most touristy place I think in the world. It's too beautiful for its own sake.

蒙馬特區(qū)是我認為這世界上最適合游覽的地方。它本身實在是太漂亮了。

So Paris has two sides, and on each side you get two woods, two big forests. There's the Bois de Boulogne on the other side of Paris, where you have got a lot of prostitutes, and you've got the Bois de Vincennes, which is way nicer. It's unique because it's not contained -it's not like in New York or in London. It's a forest by itself and it's two minutes from Paris. Actually, Paris is right here. It's 2,500 acres. It's huge. You can get lost in here.

巴黎有兩邊，兩邊各有一座樹林，共兩片大森林。布洛涅森林在巴黎的另外一邊，那里有很多娼妓，然后是文森森林，這里就好多了。它很特別，因為它沒受到遏制，不像紐約或倫敦的森林。這本來就是森林，距離巴黎只有兩分鐘的路程。實際上，巴黎就在這里。這座森林占地500英畝，很大，你可能會在這里迷路。

What I like... stuff that I like about Paris also is that they kept... I don't know if they kept it because they liked it. Probably not, but things are kept the way it was back in the days. Even, you know, the facades are not well taken care of, so it gives that feeling of old Paris that's really important to the spirit of Paris.

我喜歡的……我喜歡巴黎的地方還有他們保存了……我不知道他們是不是因為喜歡而保存下來，可能不是，但是很多東西總是被保存著過去的樣貌。即使這些建筑物的外觀并沒有好好維護，它散發(fā)出巴黎年華遲暮的感覺，這對巴黎的特質(zhì)來說真的很重要。

Paris is a city with soul. It's a city with past. You can feel it everywhere and I'm a part of it, and I can't avoid it. Even my father came to France when he, you know, in'56 [he] came from Hungary. So I'm not purebred, but this is where I learned how to, you know, this is the city where I learned to react to things, and if I was born in L.A., I probably wouldn't be able to react like that that much.

巴黎是一個有靈魂的城市。它也是一個有歷史的城市。在每個地方你都可以感受到，而我是其中的一分子，所以我也無法避免。雖然我的父親是在 1956年從匈牙利來到法國，所以我不算土生土長的巴黎人，但是這里是我學會如何……你知道，這個城市是我學習對事物如何做出反應的地方。如果我在洛杉磯出生，可能無法像在巴黎一樣有那么多的感觸。
