方法1 因果論證法

“原因句”說結(jié)果，“細(xì)節(jié)句”解釋原因。

舉例說明：

Some people prefer to stay at home during vacation, but others prefer to hang out with friends. Which do you think is better? Use some specific reasons and details in your answer.

主旨句：我覺得和朋友出去玩更好。

I think hanging out with friends is better.

原因句：人們可以有機會結(jié)識新朋友。

The first reason is that people can have the opportunity to meet new friends.

細(xì)節(jié)句1：為什么需要交朋友?

Since nowadays many people, especially young people, are working alone in big cities which are far away from their old friends and families, so they need to make more new friends in the same city to make them feel less lonely or give them a hand when they are in need.

細(xì)節(jié)句2：為什么可以交朋友?

Since some people like to travel outside or attend some other outdoor activities, like camping or hiking, they may be acquainted with others who have the same hobbies in the process, which in turn would broaden their social circle.

這樣一個理由就充分了，但是兩個理由會更好。

方法2 舉例論證法

舉個例子支持“原因句”的內(nèi)容。

例1題目：

Do you like new teachers or experienced teachers? Please give some specific details or examples to support your answer.

主旨句：

I prefer to be taught by experienced teachers.

原因句：

The first reason is that experienced teachers are better at teaching skills.

細(xì)節(jié)句：舉個例子

背景：

For example, my history teacher, Mrs. Lee, had over ten years of teaching experience.

經(jīng)過：

When we might feel bored or sleepy in class, Mrs.Lee would play some documentaries or interesting videos about history, which could be more vivid or bring some sense of freshness.

結(jié)果：

So by doing these we could memorize the history knowledge in a relaxing atmosphere.

例2題目：

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?It is better for the students to learn by watching videos of experiments instead of doing the experiments by themselves.

Please explain why with details and examples.

主旨句：

I very strongly disagree with the statement. I think students need to learn to do things by themselves.

原因句：

First off, we often learn all kinds of extra skills when we do experiments in class.

細(xì)節(jié)句：舉個例子

背景：

For example, last week in my history class, we did an experiment about statistics.

經(jīng)過：

But to get that done, I had to work with four other students and we learned a lot of group management and social skills as we did the experiment.

結(jié)果：

That’s a really important lesson.

方法3 正反論證

第一段說A的優(yōu)點，第二段說B的缺點。

例題：

Some people prefer to read paper books while others prefer to use electronic book.

Which one do you prefer?

Please give some specific details or examples to support your answer.

主旨句：

I prefer to use paper books.

A的優(yōu)點：

The main reason is that I think paper books are more convenient .If we want to do some marks or write some notes, we just need to pick up a pen and write what we want to write on the pages.

B的缺點：

But making notes on an electrical book is not that easy. The electric devices such as cell phone or pad, which have tiny buttons and small screens, it is hard to do these operations with our normal size fingers. And we also need to save the changes in time or they will disappear. So that is why I think paper books are much better.
